Privacy Policy
Effective September 22, 2026
ED Track does not require an account, does not operate a user-data server, and does not sell, share, or use your health information for advertising.
Information you enter
You may choose to record difficult moments, dates and times, emotions, context, personal notes, daily check-ins, reminder preferences, and privacy settings. This information is health-related and may be sensitive.
Storage and security
Your ED Track data is stored locally on your device in an encrypted file. The encryption key is kept in the device's secure storage. We cannot remotely view or recover your entries.
Collection, tracking, and third parties
ED Track does not send your entries to us, does not include advertising, and does not use analytics or cross-app tracking. Apple or Google may process technical store and download information under their own policies; ED Track does not receive your journal content from them.
Permissions
- Notifications: optional, used only for the daily reminder you configure.
- Biometrics/device authentication: optional, used to protect access to the app. ED Track does not receive or store biometric data.
Exporting and deleting data
If you request an export, ED Track creates a readable JSON file so you can share or save it using your device's share sheet. The exported file is no longer protected by ED Track's in-app encryption, and you control where it goes. You can permanently erase ED Track data from Settings. Uninstalling the app also removes its local app data, subject to your device backup settings.
Health notice
ED Track is a personal self-monitoring tool. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. If you may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The effective date above will change when the policy changes. For privacy questions, use the ED Track support page.
